We have a fantastic selection of industrial barcode
printers. Industrial barcode printers are used in Manufacturing, Warehousing, Healthcare, or any other environment where
a rugged metal casing is required, the printer will be printing large volumes of labels, or speed of printing or size of label is
specific.
Most industrial barcode printers will print both Thermal Transfer and Direct Thermal Labels. Thermal Transfer uses labels and
ribbon and prints superior quality than Direct Thermal. Thermal Transfer should be used for labels going to a customer (shipping labels),
labels that will be in sunlight, and labels that need to survive more than six weeks. Direct Thermal is where the printhead burns the
image onto the label. It should only be used for temporary or internal labelling. Direct Thermal also causes the printhead to burn out
quicker.
Each barcode printer has unique features and benefits so compare against your application.
Differences include print speed, label size, memory, interfaces available, corded or wireless and dpi.
If you have any questions about any of our industrial barcode printers, please
give us a call and we will be happy to help you out.
